Soil health farm walk
Regenerate Outcomes are hosting a series of farm walks with a focus on growing farm resilience and profits through improved soil health.
Join us for this farm walk at Manor Farm. Manor Farm is a family run farm in Wiltshire which is incorporating regenerative principles and practices.
The host farmer, David Lemon, will be joined by Kyle Richardville who will lead the walk. Kyle grew up on a 2000 hectare arable, fruit and vegetable farm in the corn belt in Indiana and caught the 'soil bug' while studying soil microbiology and food nutrition. He is now a soil health consultant helping farmers across the UK develop tailored soil health plans with Regenerate Outcomes.

Is it possible to maximise animal performance while still improving soil health?
Join us for what should be a lively discussion with James Daniel of Precision Grazing and Allen Williams from Understanding Ag.
The speakers will explore different grazing strategies that focus on driving animal performance in key classes of stock vs accelerating soil health gains, and how to manage potential trade-offs in grazing systems.
James and Allen will be joined by Joe Howard. Joe manages a mixed farming business growing and finishing approximately 1500 dairy beef a year on a grazing and forage system integrated with root crops and cereals. Joe was recently nominated for the 2024 Farmers Weekly Beef Farmer of the Year.

Farm walk: Grow profits from healthy soil - Northumberland
Regenerate Outcomes are hosting a series of farm walks this summer with a focus on growing farm resilience and profits through improved soil health.
This event will take place on West Wharmley Farm, which is run by Stuart Johnson. Profitability and resilience were the key drivers for Stuart Johnson to begin reducing inputs and focusing on soil health on his farm in Northumberland.
Over the last 10 years he has moved to a no-till and mob grazing system, bringing financial resilience while eliminating the use of insecticide and fungicide. Stuart was recently named 2023 Soil Farmer of the Year.
The walk will include an overview of the Regenerate Outcomes programme, while Stuart Johnson will unpack some of the principles of soil health and explain how farms can use key indicators to inform their management.
Attendees are welcome to bring along other guests who may be interested in the event.

Join us for this farm walk at Fearn Farm in Easter Ross. Successive generations have added their mark to what is now a modern mixed farming business with high quality livestock at its core. However, Fearn’s traditional blend of sheep, cattle and crops hasn’t changed and the family still find that a mixture of enterprises suit them, the land capability and the environment.
Farmer John Scott will be joined by Stuart Johnson of Understanding Ag who was named 2023 Soil Farmer of the Year.
Soil health farm walk - Angus
Regenerate Outcomes are hosting a series of farm walks this summer with a focus on growing farm resilience and profits through improved soil health. We're excited to be working with Pasture for Life for this event.
Join us for this farm walk at Easter Denoon, in Angus, where Robert Brewster's family have been livestock faming since 1946. Robert will be joined by Stuart Johnson of Understanding Ag who was named 2023 Soil Farmer of the Year.
The farm has been organic since 1990 and began practising mob grazing in 2012. Robert runs a commercial herd of cattle with genetics introduced by his grandfather and a herd of Pedigree Angus, with a strong focus on grass-fed genetics.
Accelerating Soil Health and Business Resilience with Allen Williams
Regenerate Outcomes are excited to be working with Pasture for Life to organise this practical, interactive workshop with Allen Williams from Understanding Ag, hosted by Jonty Brunyee and the team at Conygree farm.
Join us to hear from Allen about how to use regenerative grazing to accelerate the restoration of soil health and how to apply whole-farm planning and enterprise stacking to make your farm business more profitable and resilient.
Allen will share case studies and field data that show how these approaches can impact your farming system and business, with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
Then we'll set off for a walk around Conygree farm to see some of these approaches in action and Allen will lead a soil assessment exercise to help you apply them on your own farm.

Join us at Mindrum Farm where Tom Fairfax has been trialling different management techniques to boost soil biology and organic matter in arable and pasture contexts. Tom will be joined by regenerative pioneer Dr Allen Williams of Understanding Ag.
Farm walk: Grow profits from healthy soil - Cumbria
This event will take place at Gaythorne Hall. Our host, Jim Beary, has farmed at Gaythorne Hall since 2021.
He has established a successful forage-based regenerative grazing system over 360 hectares with sheep and beef cattle, plus laying hen and pig rearing enterprises on farm.
Native breed cattle and maternal-focused sheep breeds are mob grazed on a combination of herbal leys, permanent pasture and rougher grazing, and outwintering strategies include forage crops, bale grazing and deferred grazing.
The walk will include an overview of the Regenerate Outcomes programme, while Stuart Johnson - from our mentoring partner Understanding Ag - will unpack some of the principles of soil health and explain how farms can use key indicators to inform their management.
Farm walk: Littleton Farm with Regenerate Outcomes
A farm walk with the South West Scotland Regenerative Farming Network - with special guest Stuart Johnson from Regenerate Outcomes.
Littleton is on the South Ayrshire coast, between Turnberry and Girvan. It is managed by father and daughter team of Philip and Heather Close. They outwinter a 100-head suckler herd of 100% pasture-fed (PFL certified) Aberdeen Angus and Hereford cattle.
Farm walk: Grow profits from healthy soil - Pembrokeshire
This event will take place on Eastwood Farm, which Mike Howe runs alongside his family in Boulston, Pembrokeshire. The farm has a joint grass fed, organic beef enterprise with dairy cross calves from Dai Miles, a local organic dairy farm.
The walk will include an overview of the Regenerate Outcomes programme, while Kyle Richardville - from our mentoring partner Understanding Ag - will unpack some of the principles of soil health and explain how farms can use key indicators to inform their management.
The farm walk will also give you the chance to find out how Mike has been implementing regenerative practices on Eastwood Farm.
